I think the title pretty much says it all! It’s got bad lighting, I use my hands to talk waaay too much and all sorts of other things that could be critiqued about it but, you know what? I hope you enjoy it, flaws and all!!! After all, the point isn’t for it to be perfect my first time, the point is to do it so that you have an opportunity to meet me and hear the answers to my questions.

I just used my little netbook’s webcam to make my vlog and didn’t edit one bit. (Which is probably pretty obvious!) I just wanted to get it done and bring it to you to set an example. I didn’t get gussied up or do anything special here…what you see is what you get! Hopefully you learned something about me and enjoyed it.

Great first monday mingle. I like that you made a point of the fact you didn’t gussy up or edit I think that will really help your readers/viewers realize hey they can do this too. And I think you looked very nice even without gussying up! LOL

Thanks for the shout yet. And thank you so much for brushing your teeth. It is awful watching vlogs and having their bad breath leaking out of the computer

So glad you finally did it. I was nervous as heck the first time I vlogged. It does get easier. Trust me. Which reminds me I really need to get my mingle done at some point today. Must finish coffee first. Look for it this afternoon sometime.

I hate video cameras too … it can be unnerving, but I force myself because I do enjoy it! Anyway, it’s nice to “meet” you and hop you have a wonderful week!
Hello and welcome!! You did a fabulous job – I know it is stressful the first few times LOL. I never thought I would enjoy vlogging, but I actually just ‘spoke’ to a few close friends that I have online and don’t think about others that might be watching (at least in the beginning that helped). Now I feel I know all of the minglers so well, that I just don’to get nervous at all!
This is a wonderful site – I can’t wait to join, poke around and explore. It looks like there is lots of good info.

Hello! Today was also my first mingle with the vlog… It is nerve racking but you did a good job. And the hands, don’t feel too bad, I am a hand talker too.. I cheated and kept my hands below the camera for the most part.

@Pepper – Thanks!!! I thought it was an important thing to note for anybody that is afraid to make the jump from the written word to a video. It’s all about making blogging better here and it was better that I did this imperfectly than not participate.
@Nolie – LMAO! Thanks girlie! I DO need to sit on my hands!!! I wonder if I talk with my hands like that all of the time or if it is just on camera? Yikes! It better get easier!
